  • Plume is an immersive, interactive dome of synchronized light and sound gestures. The installation uses motion, sound and color to present an ephemeral and ethereal ecosystem.

  • Ian Brill is interested in gridded, representational and abstraction based artwork.

Video feedback is used to create pluming wakes of volume from the motion of small shapes.

  • Pittsburgh Resident, Ian Brill's work focuses on the accumulation of form through process. Through the creation of interactive, performative and multi-sensorial environments, he considers boundaries of becoming (versus being) and our immersive relationship with technology. His installations, performances and writing have been presented internationally, at conferences, festivals museums and galleries. Currently, he teaches at Penn State University.
