  • Constantly Traveling Towards the Sun by Massimiliano Moro is a kinetic sculpture that focuses on an infinite loop around a circle of light, a timeless journey with no beginning or end.

It invites viewers to explore the delicate dance of light, shadows, and reflections that fill the surrounding space, allowing the viewer to lose track of time and discover a new perspective.

This kinetic sculpture is made of three royal blue light circles projected on the wall. The center is also filled with a white light and a turning disc.

The shifting of the white hues inside makes visible the materiality of light, allowing us to perceive when the different lights touch their limits and translating this feeling from visual to a physical one.

  • The colors of the lights are royal blue and white.

The ring is made of stainless steel.

For the best viewing experience, stand behind the artwork and take your time watching the sculpture move. Due to the delicate nature of the components please do not touch or cross in front of the artwork.

  • Massimiliano Moro is an Italian-born artist, raised in Switzerland, who currently divides his time between Switzerland and Spain. Through the practices of design and sculpture, he seeks to establish new equilibriums between light and architecture, resulting in interventions that reshape our perception of space and create intimate worlds of reflection. All his sculptures, installations and designs circle around on the same theme: revealing the action of seeing to enhance its beauty and fragility.

In 2006, he began his artistic training at La Escola Massana, where he studied sculpture and later graduated in Art and Design. At the European Institute of Design in Barcelona he obtained the Master IED in Architectural Lighting. During his early career, he collaborated with the international artist Tom Carr, participating in creating the TCTeamwork group with which he made several exhibitions (Centro Huarte en Navarra, Centre Cultural El Carme en Badalona, Museu de Tortosa, among others).

Since 2015, he has been working independently carrying out exhibitions throughout Europe in Milan, Rome, Lugano, Basel, Padua, Banska Stiavnica, Jeddah, and more. He has also collaborated in numerous projects such as 080 Barcelona Fashion week, Circolo Turba, and LlumBcn Light Festival. His works are part of various private collections.

In 2017 he was elected “emergent light designer of the year” for the LIT Award.
